Method
Preparation
- Peel the onion, ensuring the root remains intact.
- Brush the onion with olive oil or melted butter, then sprinkle with Old Bay or Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned onion in the air fryer basket at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until it’s tender and golden brown.
Garlic Butter Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice (if using).
Assembly
- Once the onion is done, drizzle the garlic butter sauce over it and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
