Ingredients

  • 2 apples 2 apples, diced finely
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup rice flour (or oat flour) Oat flour can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 egg 1 egg
  • 1 sprinkle Sprinkle of baking powder

Optional

  • to taste drizzle of maple syrup Add for extra sweetness before serving.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, egg, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, sprinkle of baking powder, oats, and rice flour.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Form the mixture into fritter shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
