- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 head butter or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
Optional Toppings
- to taste chopped peanuts
- to taste cilantro
- to taste lime wedges
Method
Preparation
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
- Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until combined.
- Add shredded carrots and green onions, mixing well.
Serving
- Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce cups and top with any optional toppings.

Notes
