  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed and chopped Ensure broccoli is finely chopped.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Use a sharp cheddar for more flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko can be used for a crispier texture.
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Feel free to add more seasoning or herbs.
  • Olive oil spray To lightly coat the tops.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  • Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
