  • 1/3 cup melted butter Can be substituted with vegetable oil or coconut oil.
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour You can substitute half with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  • Stir in the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix.
  • Add the flour and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.

Baking

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let them cool before serving.
