Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana mashed
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional
- 1 cinnamon stick optional
Method
- 1. Combine mashed banana, water, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Stir until sugar dissolves, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- 3. Add vanilla extract or cinnamon stick if using.
- 4. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened and fragrant.
- 5. Strain syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a clean jar.
- 6. Let cool, then refrigerate for up to 1 week.
- 7. Add 1–2 tablespoons to your coffee and enjoy!

Notes
