  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt Base of the dip
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder Adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill Fresh herbs can be used for extra flavor
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper For a spicy kick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Enhances creaminess
  • 1-2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice or white vinegar To balance flavors
  • to taste fresh chopped chives For garnish

Method

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, kosher salt, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper to bloom the spices.
  • In a larger bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the olive oil and lemon juice (or vinegar) until smooth.
  • Add the spice blend to the yogurt mixture and stir until well combined. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for better flavor.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle fresh chopped chives on top.

Notes
