Ingredients

For the cake and ice cream

  • 2 layers layers of chocolate cake Use homemade or store-bought
  • 1 quart Cherry kirsch ice cream High-quality recommended

For the decoration

  • 1 cup Whipped cream Make your own or use store-bought
  • to taste Cherries for garnish Fresh or canned, pitted
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate shavings For topping

Method

Preparation

  • Bake the chocolate cake layers according to your recipe and let them cool.
  • Once cooled, place one layer of cake on a serving plate.
  • Spread a generous layer of cherry kirsch ice cream over the first cake layer.
  • Add the second layer of chocolate cake on top of the ice cream.

Decoration

  • Frost the top and sides of the cake with whipped cream.
  • Decorate with cherries and chocolate shavings.

Freezing
