Ingredients
For the cake and ice cream
- 2 layers layers of chocolate cake Use homemade or store-bought
- 1 quart Cherry kirsch ice cream High-quality recommended
For the decoration
- 1 cup Whipped cream Make your own or use store-bought
- to taste Cherries for garnish Fresh or canned, pitted
- 1/2 cup Chocolate shavings For topping
Method
Preparation
- Bake the chocolate cake layers according to your recipe and let them cool.
- Once cooled, place one layer of cake on a serving plate.
- Spread a generous layer of cherry kirsch ice cream over the first cake layer.
- Add the second layer of chocolate cake on top of the ice cream.
Decoration
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with whipped cream.
- Decorate with cherries and chocolate shavings.
Freezing
- Freeze for a few hours before serving.
- Slice the cake into portions and serve it straight from the freezer.

Notes
