Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the crescent rolls on a baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a large rectangle.
  • In a bowl, mix the boudin sausage and shredded cheese together until well combined.
  • Spread the boudin and cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough.
  • Roll the dough into a log shape, sealing the edges.
  • Twist the log to form a ring and pinch the ends to seal.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
