Ingredients
Potato Base
- 2 lbs potatoes, thinly sliced
Creamy Mixture
- 8 oz Boursin cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Topping
- 1 cup grated cheese (e.g., Gruyère or cheddar) for topping
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, milk, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the Boursin cheese on top of the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with grated cheese.
Baking
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
