Casserole Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz each)
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage (optional) Can be omitted for a vegetarian version.
- 1 jar pizza sauce (14 oz)
- 1 cup pepperoni slices Or any favorite toppings.
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Olive oil (for greasing)
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If using meat, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
- Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
- In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces, cooked meat (if using), pizza sauce, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
