Ingredients

Cake Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs

Decoration Ingredients

  • Food coloring (pink and black for decoration)
  • 2 cups frosting (white)
  • Candy (for the eyes and nose)

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add in the softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into two round 9-inch cake pans.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cakes cool completely.
  • Once cool, remove the cakes from the pans.
  • Cut one cake into the shape of a bunny head and the other into ears.

Decoration

  • Place the bunny head on a serving plate and attach the ears.
  • Frost the entire cake with white frosting.
  • Use pink frosting to create the inside of the ears and black frosting for the eyes and nose using candy.
  • Decorate as desired.
