- 500 g bread flour
- 350 g water
- 100 g sourdough starter
- 10 g salt
Method
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and water until well combined. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Add the sourdough starter and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 4-6 hours, or until doubled in size.
Baking
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a bread pan.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Score the top of the loaf with a bread lame for design.
- Place the loaf in the Dutch oven and bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing.

Notes
