  • 12 oz mixed olives
  • 6 oz cornichons or dill pickles
  • 0.5 cup hummus
  • 0.25 cup fig jam
  • 0.25 cup honey or honeycomb
  • 4 oz dark chocolate squares
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 0.5 cup roasted pumpkin seeds (fall)
  • fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (garnish)

  • cheese knives

Method

  • Fold or ribbon meats and arrange in flowing “rivers” across the board.
  • Add crackers and sliced bread near cheeses and dips.
  • Fill with fresh fruit and vegetables, spacing colors evenly for balance.
  • Add olives, pickles, nuts, and chocolate to fill remaining gaps.
  • Garnish with herbs, drizzle honey on one cheese, and sprinkle flaky salt. Finish with edible flowers if desired.
  • Keep a chilled refill tray in the fridge and rotate items onto the board as needed.

Charcuterie Board Themes: Fall (gouda, cranberry chèvre, pears, figs, maple-mustard); Brunch (smoked salmon, soft cheese, bagel chips, capers); Mediterranean (feta, olives, hummus, pita).
Cuterie Board Ideas: Build individual cups with a cheese cube skewer, folded salami, crackers, grape, and cornichon.
Dairy-free/Gluten-free: Use plant-based cheeses and GF crackers; label clearly.
Food safety: Limit room-temp time to ≤2 hours (≤1 hour if >90°F). Keep backups chilled.
