- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream cheese Can use low-fat or dairy-free alternative.
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) For added flavor.
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Can use different cheeses for variation.
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks into two separate bowls.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the cream cheese, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using). Mix until smooth.
- In the other bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture until fully combined.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming cloud-like mounds.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each mound.
Baking
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before removing from the baking sheet. Serve as desired.
