Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Choose your favorite melting cheese.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Add more if the mixture is too wet.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • as needed Oil for frying Keep the oil hot while frying.

Method

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a patty. Repeat until you use all the mixture.

Cooking

  • Fry the patties in hot oil, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.
