- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Choose your favorite melting cheese.
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Add more if the mixture is too wet.
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- as needed Oil for frying Keep the oil hot while frying.
Method
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a patty. Repeat until you use all the mixture.
Cooking
- Fry the patties in hot oil, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.

Notes
