Cookie Dough Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use room temperature butter for easier creaming.
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips Mini chocolate chips can be used for a fun twist.
Chocolate Coating
- 1 cup chocolate for melting (milk or dark) Let melted chocolate cool slightly before pouring over cookie dough.
Method
Preparation
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla and salt.
- Gradually add the flour and stir until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and scoop tablespoonfuls of cookie dough into each liner.
- Press the dough down to form cups.
- Melt the chocolate and pour it over the cookie dough cups, smoothing it out.
- Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Serving
- These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cups are best served chilled.
- Arrange them on a platter for a party or keep them in the fridge for a late-night snack.
