Ingredients

For the yogurt mixture

  • 1.5 cups chopped strawberries Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt You can experiment with flavored Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tbsp honey Add more for a sweeter treat.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the chocolate coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Dairy-free chocolate chips can be used for a vegan version.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Preparation

  • Add the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to a large bowl and combine thoroughly until smooth.
  • Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture and place it on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to form clusters. Aim for around 10 clusters.
  • Place the baking sheet with the yogurt clusters in the freezer and freeze until completely solid, about 1-2 hours.

Chocolate Coating

  • Once the clusters are frozen, melt the chocolate by adding chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave the mixture in 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
  • Dip each frozen yogurt cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring even coating.
  • Place each chocolate-coated cluster back on the prepared baking sheet, optionally sprinkling with sea salt.
  • Return the clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to let the chocolate harden.

Store leftover clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1-2 months, separating layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking. You can also switch out the strawberries for other fruits, like blueberries or bananas.
