Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup honey Natural sweetener.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 piece egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter.
  • Stir in the honey, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  • Finally, add the flour and stir until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  • Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.

Cooling

  • Let cool before slicing.
