Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- Top with half of the chopped onion and half of the Velveeta cheese.
- Repeat the layers.
- In a bowl, mix the milk and melted butter, then pour over the potatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
