Ingredients

  • 1 cup condensed milk Use sweetened condensed milk for best results.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Ensure it's softened to room temperature.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and condensed milk until smooth.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well combined.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
