Ingredients

For the dip

  • 1 cup cottage cheese Can use low-fat cottage cheese for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use a mix of different cheeses for varied flavor.
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional) Can add extra lime juice for brightness.

Method

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
