Ingredients
For the dip
- 1 cup cottage cheese Can use low-fat cottage cheese for a lighter version.
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use a mix of different cheeses for varied flavor.
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional) Can add extra lime juice for brightness.
Method
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
- Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
