Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 cups 100% unsweetened cranberry juice Use unsweetened for better control over sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder This is essential for the gummy texture.
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste) Adjust sweetness based on preference.
  • ½ cup water Used for blooming the gelatin.

Method

Preparation

  • Pour the ½ cup of water into a bowl. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the gelatin absorbs the water and looks spongy.
  • In a small saucepan, gently heat the cranberry juice over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
  • Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm cranberry juice. Whisk gently until fully dissolved.
  • If using honey or maple syrup, add it now and stir until combined. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour the mixture into a lightly greased glass dish or silicone mold.
  • Place in the refrigerator and chill for 2–3 hours or until fully set.

Serving

  • Once firm, remove from the fridge and cut into small cubes. Serve these gummies as a snack any time of day.

Storage

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
