Method
Preparation
- In a blender, combine the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, milk, and salt.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Churning
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Alternatively, pour it into a container and freeze for about 4-6 hours, stirring every hour to break up ice crystals.
Serving
- Serve the creamy chocolate cottage cheese ice cream on its own, or garnish with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola.
