  • 8 oz pasta Any type of pasta can be used.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes while cooking.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can be replaced with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can use Pecorino Romano or Grana Padano as alternatives.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Cooking

  • Stir in the butter and let it melt.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese.
  • Mix until well combined and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes
