  • 1 package Gnocchi Use fresh gnocchi for the best texture.
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 1 cup Light cream Adjust thickness by adding more as desired.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated for better incorporation.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1/4 cup White wine Optional, but adds depth to the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mozzarella cheese Add at the end for cheesiness.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil Chopped for garnish and flavor.

Method

Preparation

  • Cook gnocchi according to package instructions.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  • Add light cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and white wine to the sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  • Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Stir in fresh basil and mozzarella cheese.
  • Cook until mozzarella is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve Creamy Gnocchi with Red Sauce hot, garnished with extra fresh basil or Parmesan cheese.
