  • 2 cups fresh spinach Can substitute with frozen spinach.
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced Use any variety of mushrooms.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For lighter version, use a low-fat alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the pork chops.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Optional for serving.

Method

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and sear in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft.
  • Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet and let them simmer in the creamy sauce for a few minutes.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
