  • 2 fillets cod fillets (about 6 ounces each) fresh and dry for best results
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese or substitute with other cheeses
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 large egg whisked until well mixed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Preparation

  • Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg until well mixed.
  • Dip each cod fillet into the egg, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even layer.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated cod fillets inside.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the fillets halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
  • Let the cod rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
