Ingredients

For the fries

  • 2 pieces ripe avocados Choose ripe avocados for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Or almond flour for low-carb option.
  • 1/2 cup flour Or coconut flour for low-carb option.
  • 2 pieces eggs Can be replaced with flaxseed egg for vegan version.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil For baking.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the avocados into wedges or fries.
  • Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  • Dip each avocado wedge into the flour, then the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Arrange the coated avocado fries on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot and fresh out of the oven with a spicy dipping sauce, like sriracha mayo or chipotle ranch.
  • They can also be served as a unique side to burgers or tacos.
  • Add to salads for extra crunch!
