Ingredients
For the fries
- 2 pieces ripe avocados Choose ripe avocados for the best flavor and texture.
- 1 cup breadcrumbs Or almond flour for low-carb option.
- 1/2 cup flour Or coconut flour for low-carb option.
- 2 pieces eggs Can be replaced with flaxseed egg for vegan version.
- to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.
- as needed Cooking spray or olive oil For baking.
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the avocados into wedges or fries.
- Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dip each avocado wedge into the flour, then the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated avocado fries on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Serving
- Serve hot and fresh out of the oven with a spicy dipping sauce, like sriracha mayo or chipotle ranch.
- They can also be served as a unique side to burgers or tacos.
- Add to salads for extra crunch!

Notes
