Ingredients
For the Chicken Cutlets
- 4 pieces chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 pieces eggs, beaten
- as needed tablespoons olive oil for frying
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cutlets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for another 10 minutes until cooked through.
