Ingredients

For the Chicken Cutlets

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 pieces eggs, beaten
  • as needed tablespoons olive oil for frying

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the cutlets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for another 10 minutes until cooked through.
