Method
Preparation
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the au jus seasoning mix over the beef.
- Add the sliced onion and pour the beef broth on top.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the meat is tender.
- Remove the beef, shred it with forks, and return it to the liquid.
Serving
- Serve on French rolls and top with Provolone cheese if desired.
- Don't forget to serve with the au jus for dipping.

Notes
