  • 1.5 pounds chuck or sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tablespoons butter Softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste Salt (start with 1 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper to taste Black pepper (start with ½ teaspoon)
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method

Preparation

  • Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Place the steak cubes into the crockpot. Pour the beef broth over the steak, then dollop the garlic butter mixture evenly on top. Gently stir to distribute but leave some pockets of butter.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours without lifting the lid.
  • After cooking, gently stir to coat the steak bites in the sauce. Adjust salt and pepper if needed. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes
