Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine the mixed nuts and dates, and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add the melted dark chocolate, sea salt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture holds together.
- Press the mixture firmly into the lined baking dish into an even layer.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
