  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce Adjust with extra for stronger flavor if desired.
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers Optional, can add nutrition and flavor.
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles For serving.
  • Green onions Optional, for garnish.

Method

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Pour teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
  • If using, add chopped bell peppers on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  • Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice or noodles.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
