Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties

  • 1 lb ground chicken Can substitute with turkey or beef.
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese Feel free to experiment with different kinds of cheese.
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6-8 pieces buns Use your favorite type of buns.
  • Oil for frying (optional)

Method

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, bread crumbs, cheese, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  • Form the mixture into small patties.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if desired.
  • Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the buns by toasting them lightly if desired.

Serving

  • Place the cooked chicken patties in the buns and add your favorite optional toppings.
