Cake Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix Prepare according to package instructions.
- 1 cup frosting (your choice) Choose your favorite flavor.
Decorating Ingredients
- 1 package blue candy melts For coating the cake balls.
- 1 package green candy melts For creating land features.
- to taste sprinkles For decoration.
- optional edible grass or colored sugar For added decoration.
Method
Preparation
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and bake it.
- Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into a large bowl.
- Mix in the frosting until well combined.
Shaping & Freezing
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes.
Coating
- Melt the blue candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each frozen cake ball into the melted blue candy and let the excess drip off.
- Place them back on the parchment paper and let them set.
- Melt the green candy melts and drizzle over the blue-coated cake balls to create land features.
- Decorate with sprinkles or edible grass for a final touch.
Serving
- Serve the Earth Day Cake Bites on a colorful platter or in small cupcake liners.

Notes
