Ingredients

  • 4 pieces pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Spice rub

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme to make the spice rub.
  • Rub the pork chops with olive oil and then coat them with the spice mixture on both sides.
  • Place the pork chops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
