Ingredients

For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Make sure to use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Feel free to adjust the garlic according to your taste.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or coconut milk for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For an extra touch, add more Parmesan cheese when serving.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Method

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
