Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 8 oz egg noodles or any pasta of choice
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving optional
  • Fresh parsley, chopped optional for garnish

Method

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and add them to the skillet.
  • Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking Noodles

  • In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.

Combining and Serving

  • Slice the chicken and return it to the pan, mixing everything together.
  • Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes
