Ingredients

For the Chips

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil For frying
  • 16 pieces dumpling wrappers Can use wonton or spring roll wrappers as alternatives
  • 3 pieces green onions, chopped Freshly chopped for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste on wrappers
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Optional, can substitute or omit

Method

Preparation

  • Sprinkle each dumpling wrapper with a bit of water and a pinch of salt.
  • Add the chopped green onions on top of each wrapper.
  • Carefully roll the wrapper so that the onions stick to the dough.

Cooking

  • In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, place the dumplings in the pan.
  • Fry them for about 30 seconds on each side until they are golden brown.
  • Remove the dumplings from the heat and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Repeat the process until all the dumplings are fried.

Notes
