Method
Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Pour the salsa verde over the chicken.
- Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the salsa verde.
Serving
- Serve garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.

Notes
