  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend) Use a mix for added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon butter or cooking spray

Optional Fillings

Method

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or spray with cooking spray.
  • Place a tortilla on the skillet and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on one half.
  • If desired, add any optional cooked meats or vegetables on top of the cheese.
  • Fold the tortilla in half over the filling and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese has started to melt.
  • Carefully flip the burrito and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve hot with salsa or your favorite dipping sauce.
