Halloween Fruit Platter

A fun, healthy Halloween fruit board with banana ghosts, clementine pumpkins, and monster grape kabobs. Ready in just 20 minutes, this no-cook platter is perfect for parties and kids’ snacks.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups green grapes
  • 3 cups strawberries, hulled
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups pineapple or melon chunks
  • 10 clementines, peeled
  • 3 ribs celery, cut into small stems
  • 4 bananas, halved
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips or candy eyes
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt, for dipping
  • 1 cup chocolate sauce, for dipping
  • 24 short skewers for grape kabobs

Equipment

  • Cutting board and knife
  • Serving platter or board
  • Small bowls For yogurt and chocolate dips
  • Paper towels For drying fruit
  • Short skewers or toothpicks For grape kabobs

Method

  • Dry fruit well. Brush bananas (and apple slices if using) with lemon juice.
  • Press chocolate chips or candy eyes into banana halves to make ghosts.
  • Insert small celery pieces into clementines to make pumpkins.
  • Thread grapes onto skewers and press a single candy eye on the tip to make monster kabobs.
  • Arrange fruit characters on a large board, then fill in with berries, kiwi, pineapple, and melon.
  • Add dip bowls with yogurt and chocolate sauce. Chill until serving.

Notes
