Ingredients

Slider Components

  • 12 pieces slider rolls Any small bread rolls can be used.
  • 1 lb ham, sliced You can use various types of ham.
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese, sliced Feel free to substitute with other cheeses.

Butter Mixture

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Melted butter for brushing on top.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds flavor to the butter mixture.
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds For decoration and flavor.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer the sliced ham and Swiss cheese on top of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  • Brush the mixture over the tops of the slider rolls.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm, cut into individual portions on a large platter.
  • Pair with pickles, chips, or a simple salad.
  • Consider offering a dipping sauce like barbecue or ranch.
