Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mashed bananas Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup almond butter Can substitute with peanut butter or any nut butter.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Use maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oats, mashed bananas, almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Baking
