- 2 cups low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (optional) Can be skipped for a vegetarian option
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil (for garnish) Adds a fresh flavor
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped vegetables, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- If using, add pepperoni slices on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.

Notes
