Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs meat (chicken, beef, or pork) Choose according to your preference.
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can.
  • 1 cup broth (chicken or beef)

Seasonings

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Method

Preparation

  • Place the meat at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the chopped onions and minced garlic on top of the meat.
  • Layer the sliced carrots and diced potatoes over the onions and garlic.
  • Pour the can of diced tomatoes and broth over everything.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and herbs on top.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the meat is tender.
  • Once cooked, shred the meat and mix everything together before serving.
