- 3 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for best flavor.
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein powder Any type of protein powder can be used.
- 1 cup almond flour or gluten-free flour Substitute with choice of flour.
Sweeteners and Flavorings
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Can adjust to taste.
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt Balancing the sweetness.
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, honey (or maple syrup), baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas.
- Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and enjoy your high-protein chocolate banana bread!
