Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for best flavor.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder Any type of protein powder can be used.
  • 1 cup almond flour or gluten-free flour Substitute with choice of flour.

Sweeteners and Flavorings

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Can adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Balancing the sweetness.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, honey (or maple syrup), baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before slicing and enjoy your high-protein chocolate banana bread!
