  • 2 cups cottage cheese Can use low-fat cottage cheese.
  • 3 cups cooked pasta Use whole grain or high-protein pasta for added nutrition.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish) Use for added freshness.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, ground beef, cottage cheese, marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
