Toppings

  • ½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional) For added spice
  • ¼ cup hot honey (or regular honey + chili flakes)

Method

Preparation

  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Cooking Sausage

  • In a skillet, cook the hot Italian sausage until it is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Assembling Pizza

  • Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush it lightly with olive oil.
  • Layer with shredded mozzarella cheese, cooked sausage, and crumbled feta cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 475°F (245°C) for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Finishing Touch

  • Remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle hot honey generously over the top and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
